Hydrant Testing & Flow Simulation
Fire System Testing
Fire hydrants and fire systems on all sites, such as hospitals, universities or pharmaceutical plants, need to be maintained and tested as part of your annual maintenance program. Testing and maintenance should be conducted for both insurance purposes and to ensure operability if a fire was to occur.
Testing includes:
- Visual Inspection of all hydrants and surrounds
- Flow Rates
- Dynamic and Static Pressures
All testing conducted in accordance with BS:5306
all parts.
Flow Simulation
In assessing water distribution
for new sites, whether for an extension
or a complete new build, water delivery
is critical. The level of services at critical
points on a water network are
measured through pressure logging,
whilst simulating flows at peak demand
determines the suitability of the water
main for expansion.

Testimonials
“I called Lowflo due to a large leak in our garden. Having rung a few leak detection companies they were by far the most professional with the least amount of jargon. Lowflo’s engineer was here on time as promised the next day. He explained all he was going to do and then got straight onto detecting the leak. He was fast, professional, polite and efficient and in a matter of minutes of his arrival he took away something that was quite a worry for us. The leak was located, dug up and fixed within a short period of time and Lowflo’s engineer made it very hassle free for us. If you want a professional, friendly, efficient service I would thoroughly recommend Lowflo”. Tina McDonald – Skerries Road.
